The third gate of Valletta built in 1953 is known by many names: Porta Reale, Putrijal, Kingsgate and Kingsway. The design was done by Col. Thompson of the Royal Engineers, where he included two statues on either side of Philippe Villiers de L’Isle-Adam, the first Grand Master in Malta and Jean Parisot de Valette, the founder of Valletta.
This print is part of a limited run of 50, and once sold out will be discontinued. Each print will be signed, titled and numbered at the bottom of the front page.
